Where Is The Neck???

Ok so where the heck is the neck?? I was reading up on Fierce’s blog and he said that there are probably negative magnets in the head and at the base of the neck. At first I thought that could be a possibility…and a really good one too. Whenever people start talking about the neck controversy, they always mention the head flying up in the air when a poptropican gets mad. This led me to thinking about the possibility of there being a natural, gravitational force in that mysterious area. So perhaps there aren’t actual magnets in the head because if the head movements are controlled by emotions it must be something biological.

Since poptropicans possess such extreme abilities: jumping really high, having great agility, and extremely refined hand-eye coordination skills … I think its safe to say that poptropicans are a special kind of species that can quickly adapt to any kind of environment they’re put into. That being said, I’m pretty sold on the idea that they could have super advanced genes and cells in their tiny little bodies. So maybe there are “magnet-like” cells or some kind of natural force near the base of the neck and bottom of the head that allows the head to hover all the time. I wouldn’t even be surprised if those special cells could form an actual neck by will. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think there was one island where in the middle of gameplay, there was an image that showed a poptropican with an actual neck. I can’t really remember the island but it seems familiar.

Another idea of mine is that when the character designers were creating the official look of poptropicans, they probably thought it looked cool and different because there was no neck. Then once it was time to show the design to the creators, they all loved it and went with it. There probably was no deep thought to it…just a kind of design. OR MAYBE THEY DO HAVE SPECIAL GENES…I dunno lol. It would be a lot cooler though if the explanation for the floating heads was because of super advanced cells but maybe we’ll never know.
